Community-Rate Sessions
I believe cost should never be the reason a couple doesn't get help. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are reserved for clients who would otherwise be unable to access care. Use the tool below to see whether a community rate may apply to your situation.

Higher Ground Counseling reserves a limited number of reduced-fee appointments for clients who would otherwise be unable to access care. Rates are determined collaboratively based on financial circumstances and current availability.

Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and I understand that. However, to respect everyone's time:
- •Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
- •Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee
- •Emergency situations are handled with compassion and flexibility
Court Appearance & Legal Fees
Therapy records and clinical testimony are confidential and protected by law. In the event that a client or third party subpoenas my attendance or records for legal proceedings, the following fees apply:

Hourly rate
$350/hr
All time away from office
- •A non-refundable retainer of $750 is required before any court-related work begins
- •$350 per hour for all time away from the office, including travel, waiting, and testimony
- •These fees apply regardless of which party initiates the subpoena
These fees reflect the significant disruption to client care that court involvement creates. Payment is due in advance of any scheduled appearance.
